Floating Market

I was flipping through channels on the telly the other night and found a National Geographic program called Traveler. It was featuring Thailand and I happened to catch it when it was featuring the famous floating market, Damnoen Saduak. Isn't it fascinating?! A new place to add to my list. I hear it is a common tourist site just outside of Bangkok but it looks so amazing in pictures that I would be willing to do the tourist route. :PFruits, vegetables, hats...
Lunch on the river?
I want one of those hats!
It's so colourful. Can you imagine? Smells of fresh produce, smells and bubbling sounds of food frying, the river water, the loud bargaining...
If you ever go, make sure to do your research. There are lots of websites with details of guided tours and people's travelogues :)
