Style: Simple Rings

Bling and perfectly matching set of earrings, necklace, bracelet and ring? Not really my kind of frosting. But there is something about the beautifully simple pieces.
Here are a few of my favourite simple rings...

 1. Catbird Hammered First Knuckle Ring | 2. Bario Neal Fishtail, rose gold | 3. Bario Neal Knottedrush, rose gold | 4. Indulgent Designs Infinity Knot | 5. Katrina Lapenne Braid | 6. Blanca Monrós Gómez (the best for last)

Beautiful, no? Any one of these pieces would make a lovely gift or even as a wedding band, though not very traditional ;)

Summer Wedding: Carolina y Fabrizio

Happy Tuesday! It's been insanely busy (I seem to say that a lot lately) on my end. Basically, I work on the computer all day, commute home, dance classes, family (so many in town this summer), sleep.
Two weeks ago, I attended a small but very beautiful wedding. The bride made her own gown! Enjoy these photos and I promise I'll be back tomorrow!Such a beautiful bride!
Yes. She made that dress! And the whole wedding was planned in about two months!
Los queremos Caro y Fabri!

Happy 25th Anniversary!

It seems as though everyone around me is either getting engaged, thinking about getting engaged, are engaged and getting married, planning their wedding, going to dress fittings or celebrating their anniversaries! Okay. I may be exaggerating a little but I've been to two different weddings so far, two friends have gotten engaged, another friend just celebrated their one year anniversary, and today is my parents 25th wedding anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to my mother and father! Cheers to the next 25!
There is a story to my grandfather's expression but I can't remember what it is!
Waiting and walking...
Ahh! The hand off. And at least the smile is back on my grand-pop's face!
You may kiss the bride!
I should really scan these instead of take a photo of a photo with my cell phone!

Ibiza Wedding

Hello my lovely lovely blog buddies! So far I only shared the details of the wedding I attended in Ibiza, Spain. Everything about this wedding was so beautiful that I can't resist but share more of it!
It was a gorgeous church at the top of the hill and what a view!
Then we moved on to the Hacienda Na Xamena for the reception cocktails and dinner! On our way in, we passed gorgeous garden courtyards...
Seawater pools...
Until we finally reached the perfect space for cocktails and speeches!
My twin nieces, the flower girls...
Isn't her dress gorgeous?! Click to zoom in on those fabulous details! And yes, that's the groom holding the pack of tissue!
Moving away from the cocktail reception area, we walked through the resort towards the banquet space. These are my parents at the entrance...
What a view! Can you imagine what it would be like to stay at a place like this? There is a swimming pool that didn't quite make it into this shot.
Small olive trees were interspersed throughout the room, giving it a lovely natural ambience. A happy bride and groom during their first dance as husband and wife!
Yup! That's me and I got very camera happy on this trip!

Ibiza Wedding: the Details

¡Hola chicas! What a trip I had! I have lots of pictures to share with you; so much that I hardly know where to begin! I'll start backwards with the wedding. First, the details:
Lemons, oranges and pink ribbons: a sunset colour scheme...Bubbles instead of rice (click to enlarge)...

Pink tulips for the bride and a feathery hairpiece...

Wedding shoes...A white jeep with pink cans for the newlyweds!
Decorative oranges...
To find your table, you had to find the your name in the trees...

Cigars as wedding favours for the men... ...and white or striped Spanish alpargatas for the women. The table. Your place was marked with a personal menu.
Tables were labelled by Philippine locations written with silver on stone, like this one, Ilo Ilo.
Monch ended their first dance as husband and wife with style! This was their wedding song: Duende del Sur - Chambao

Dirty Deeds Handmade Soaps

Ahhh! I finished writing one of my papers and it feels great! I had to do some Etsy browsing after and found a shop all about handmade soaps: Dirty Deeds Soaps (that name is so funny). I love browsing these kinds of shops and always want to try things!
I love the look of handmade soap. What a variety! Not that I need a man's shaving kit but I love it! This would make such a great gift!
Handmade soaps and shaving sets for wedding party favours! Not a bad idea...
Loofah soaps for polished skin...
What classy soap dishes! They know more French than I do!
