Mukluks and Czech Bridges

So, I am officially procrastinating like there is no tomorrow with two exams in it. Que sera sera! There are two things I must post here:

The first is a pair of Bowtie Mukluks from Anthropologie. I wish we had this store in Vancouver! These soft knitted boot slippers look so cozy. They would have been perfect for this bitingly cold day! Not a bad gift idea as well... what with Christmas fast on its way to being here...The second is this beautiful photo of the Charles Bridge in Prague. An early morning shot, I admire the person who woke up to capture the moment. It makes for a lovely desktop background as well.

Art Deco in Prague

(National Theatre and Prague bridges on Vltava River)
Yet another destination on my "places-to-see" list: Prague. From what I've seen in pictures and in films, Prague is beautiful and has that old European charm. Filled with art and museums, shopping, good eating and of course, history, I couldn't help browsing through those "experience (city name goes here)" websites. That's where I stumbled across this luxe spot, Art Deco Imperial Hotel, centrally located in Nove Mesto, Prague. The pictures say it all...
