Rain-Drum

I was browsing over at Pottery Barn again, when I found this beautiful Frog Rain-Drum Accent Table. I love that it has an exotic quality and detail. I wish I had a reason to buy it and a place to put it! This is a cast aluminum version done in an antique bronze finish with concentric rings of geometrical relief patterns, botanical embellishments and a top detailing of three frogs. Looking at these pictures, I would have trouble deciding whether I wanted it inside or outside...

Saving with Water Bottles

Okay, so this was technically a Boxing week find but the sales are still on. I went to Pottery Barn the other day, of course, since it is one of my favorite places to stroll around in, and found the cutest Aluminum Water Bottles. I decided to go greener and purchase one of my own. They were on sale as well! That's always a bonus. When I reached the checkout counter, I discovered, to my delight, that they were even further on sale! That's when I was told I would have good shopping karma the rest of the day. And the lady was right! I got free samples and a free glass of wine at Joey's when Christian Ehrhoff scored! So I hope you all have/had good shopping karma and going greener was never a bad idea...
If aluminum isn't your style, the glass bottles are green and lovely as well. YAY for sales!! Save money and the planet! Not too shabby...

Stockings!

Yes. Right now I am very much in the Christmas mood! Have a fireplace? Have Christmas stockings? Here's is an easy and stylish new way to hang them!
You can even get them engraved. Brilliant.

*sniff sniff*

Another rainy West Coast day and I love it! I love the cold. With cold weather comes the wonderful fall fashions: boots, scarves, jackets-- three of my favorite fashion accessories! Well...not just boots: shoes in general. Today I wore my wonderfully hand-made riding boots and was complimented on them in one of my favorite stores. Oh yes! I cant forget that with the cold autumn weather comes some of the greatest holidays: Thanksgiving, Halloween, Remembrance Day, and, the greatest one of all, Christmas!

Back to that favorite store: Pottery Barn

As I was browsing through the store, feeling quite pleased and stylish after the compliments on my boots, I found candles and scented oil that smelt like the holidays. My nose couldn't get enough!
