Except I don't have the flowers... or the chalk board... or that super cute desk lamp... The bows on the wall are such a unique idea. Not to toot my own style horn but I think clear chairs and white desks lighten up a space in a fun and sometimes funky way...

Now back to work, looking to images from Arthur Devis and studying the costumes of the 18th century... He renders the fabric incredibly realistic... perfect for a costume study!

So, it's all over the news that there is a royal wedding in the near future. I stumbled upon an article that had a lot of sketches of suggested gowns for Kate Middleton. Can you imagine having so many of the world's most renowned designers drawing wedding gowns specifically for you? These are a few I liked but there are more designs in that article including the thoughts behind each the design...


Rancho San Cayetano looks like a lovely and peaceful place to stay in Zitacuaro Michoacan, which is conveniently close to the Monarch Butterfly sanctuaries of Mexico.


A trip to Mexico would be a nice change from our frigid weather, no?
