Masked Ball

I just watched the music video of One Republic's 'All the Right Moves' and I loved the theme! A masked ball! How much fun would that be?! Anyways, after watching it I started to look at Venetian masks. Here are the video and some photographs I found over at flickr.com...

LV Spring 2009

I was watching either a fashion television program today and there was a feature about the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection. It was probably an old episode but I really liked some of the looks. The feature was about taking the style off the runway and recreating it in a more "do-it-yourself" way, making your look much more affordable. I wish I could find a video of this but I can't remember what the show was! Here are some looks that I liked, especially the first two, which were a part of this feature :)

Almost There...

One more exam this afternoon. Just one more! I cannot wait till it's over. As far as I'm concerned, my school year is done (zero motivation to study anymore)! In a few hours I'm going to look like this:It's from an article at Rogue Magazine about A Girl Named Max. I have no idea who she is (apparently her name is Max) but the photo shoot is fun, creative, and edgy...

The Vitamin String Quartet

I was watching TV the other day and suddenly my ears tuned into the music that was playing in the background of the scene. It was the Coldplay song, Clocks. But the cool thing was that it was being play by a string quartet of violins! So after a little music research I discovered it was played by the group known as The Vitamin String Quartet and they've done all sorts of different covers of popular songs in a classical spin. They have so many tributes to popular bands: Coldplay, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Plain White T's, Oasis... The list goes on and on. Here are some of my favourites :)

Destination Inspiration

Okay another Tory Burch themed post! I love my new shoes and I'm going to wear them to an interview today.
There are some great and simple collages of her designs that were inspired by various places around the world. They are pretty and fun and makes me want to travel... and shop! These ones are my favourites...

Classic Leading Ladies

Don't you just love looking at vintage pictures? I was browsing over at Architectural Digest and found these ones. The old fashion and interior design are so much fun to look at. I especially love Marlene Dietrich's mirrored boudoir and Ava Gardner's outfit!

Exams

So want to see what I look like right now? Like this:I'll be back on Saturday, assuming I survive the long hours of cramming and exam writing! But in the mean time here are a few funny and inspiring images :)
And if you are going through the same as me right now then I wish all the luck in the world with your exams or papers or whatever it is you need a bit of luck for!
Yes I suppose calculus can be rather... vexing!Physics: I am so glad I ditched it a long time ago!
If only marks were given for creativity on these questions!
