Prince of Persia

The life of a movie critic must be quite serious. I was thinking about this the other day while reading the reviews for Prince of Persia. Let's just take a step back for a minute: it's a fantasy/adventure film based on a video game. Fantasy and video game being the key words here, it is what it is. Easily the most memorable aspects: the visuals and stunts. It was full of colour and exoticism, having the charm of the unfamiliar. If you go and watch it, don't think so hard and question every little thing. Just go for the ride and enjoy it! Jake isn't too bad to look at for a few hours either :P
I love the scenery and Penny Rose's costumes...

Thanks for your comment* I was very happy to see we have the same interests and studies ^^ My degree is in art history, but i'm having my Master in Heraldry, to focus this aesthetics perspective of the coat of arms and it's social and polotical meaning :) If you'd like some day we talk more about that. If you have, at any timem some doubts or questions, i would be glad to help you if i can, with some book advices or authors. But i believe you're having a pretty complete education in this field :) In Canada i've always seen the best references about art history and heritage studies ^^
Lucky girl. So, now i've only rested 2hours and back to writting! *** kiss kiss

I think the difference between film critics and the rest of us is that they see so many movies. I used to watch so many movies before I had kids that i was hyper-critical of what I watched as well. Now I rarely see movies and I am much easier going on what I do see. I'll be sure to rent Price of Persia when it comes out. I need to see those famous abs!

ahh that does makes sense! haha good point. Well I'm glad I'm not a professional movie critic! There are a lot of crappy films that they probably end up watching!
