Okay, this picture makes me want to cry. It's time to go green. I just heard about the April oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Not good. It's estimated that more than 200,000 gallons of oil are spilling out of a blown out well into the ocean per day. Not only is it affecting the wildlife and sea-life in the immediate environment but weather and currents are only spreading it. Some of the southern states have declared a state of emergency (Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida). Speaking in the town of Venice, Obama even said: "We're dealing with a massive and potentially unprecedented environmental disaster." It's sad and ironic that it occurred during Earth Week 2010...So a green theme for this week! Today, a Recycled Burlap Tote: great for carrying groceries instead of using plastic bags :)
